I tried to change the right rear light on the corvette but had no access. I added some much-needed oil . It was a beautiful evening so I went for a spirited drive for the second day in a row. Turns out there is stuff going on keeping me from going to any cars and coffee, but on a positive note I stopped by the shop of the mechanic I know and he jacked the car up and had the turning signals working in no time. Unfortunately, I managed to drive off some poorly placed curb that was in the way (the driveway sloped up to the top of the curb). Despite the fact that the car rides ~1mm from the ground on a stiff, British designed suspension, there was no drama. I also need an obnoxious cat-back to hear the engine better.

I had had the mufflers cut off my 93 and 96, it really wasn't that loud in the lower in the rpm range. I can't say for sure about the L98 but I would imagine it's pretty similar. DO IT!

Does your car have the original exhaust setup too? I like the sound with the original setup, but I really feel like it should be more aggressive. I was thinking about at least buying some tips or something.

British-designed suspension? Where did you get that from? I don't recall reading about that in my Corvette books...

I've read in a couple of places that in development there was a semi-official collaboration with lotus on the suspension borrowing many key elements from the Esprit. I'll send you a source if I manage to find something, otherwise it's just typical internet accuracy. Mangaflow is always a good option though.
